House in Bolivar Peninsula

Hot Tub, Pet Friendly, 4Bdr/2Bth, - Aqua Vista

Entire home • 11 guests • 4 bedrooms • 5 beds • 2 bathrooms

The coast here is flat and honest. The road thins out, the houses sit on their pilings, and the Gulf does what it has always done, roll in, pull back, and leave you with salt in the air and quiet in your chest. This is Gilchrist, just past Crystal Beach, where you can still hear yourself think. Inside, the house is made for real living, not posing. Four bedrooms and two baths give everyone space to breathe, and the layout is built for a group that actually wants to enjoy each other. • Four bedrooms. Two baths. Room to spread out and still come together. • Sleeps up to 11 comfortably—no crowding, no stepping over one another. • King bed for those who sleep with purpose • Queen bed for early risers • Three bunk beds for kids, cousins, or the friend who doesn’t mind • A full kitchen. Solid and ready—cook, serve, and stay a while. • The living room settles in at night. An electric fireplace takes the edge off and keeps you there longer than planned. • Thoughtful décor. Nothing loud, nothing forced—just right. • Step outside and slow down. A hot tub waits under open coastal sky. • The wind softens. Time moves the way it should on vacation. • After the sun and salt, come inside and stay easy. Games, puzzles, and books. • If you want a coastal getaway that feels easy the moment you arrive—this is it. You are free to use the entire home, deck, downstairs patio and the hot tub. The attic is off limits, exceptions will be to check wifi router. The Caplen area of Gilchrist offers a quieter, more laid-back side of the Bolivar Peninsula—perfect for guests looking to escape the crowds of Crystal Beach while still staying close to everything. This part of the peninsula is known for its low traffic, open space, and relaxed coastal feel. Homes are more spread out, the beaches are less crowded, and you won’t find the same level of congestion you might experience further down in Crystal Beach during peak weekends and holidays. The beach here is wide, driveable, and easy to access, making it ideal for long walks, fishing, or simply setting up for the day without feeling packed in next to other groups. It’s a great spot for families or anyone looking for a more peaceful beach experience. While the area itself is quiet, you’re still just a short drive (10–15 minutes) from Crystal Beach where you’ll find grocery stores, restaurants, bars, and local shops. Many guests choose to stock up on essentials before arriving so they can fully enjoy the slower pace once they’re here. If you’re looking for a lively, crowded beach scene, that’s further down the peninsula. If you’re looking for space, privacy, and a true coastal reset, Caplen is exactly where you want to be. Getting around is simple and part of the experience out here. Most guests drive, and once you arrive, things slow down. The roads are easy, traffic is light, and you’re never in a rush to get anywhere. One of the best parts of Bolivar Peninsula is that the beach itself is drivable. With a beach parking permit, you can drive right onto the sand, set up your spot for the day, and keep everything close—no long walks, no hauling gear. Golf carts are also a popular way to get around. They’re allowed on the beach and throughout the area, making quick trips to the shoreline or cruising the neighborhood easy and enjoyable. For groceries, restaurants, and essentials, most guests take a short drive toward Crystal Beach. Many choose to stock up ahead of time so they can settle in and enjoy the slower pace once they arrive. Out here, getting around isn’t just about convenience—it’s part of the coastal lifestyle. 🏡 HOUSE RULES Please take a moment to review—these help keep the home safe, clean, and enjoyable for everyone.
